Sales Evaluation Day (SED)
The Sales Evaluation Day (SED) is an intensive one-day assessment process designed to pragmatically evaluate the skills and behaviors of sales profiles. It allows the evaluation of up to 12 individuals (candidates or employees) across all key competencies required for sales roles.

The assessment is conducted by a duo of experts (a sales consultant from TMC Afrique and an HR consultant from ReKrute.com), with the continuous presence of the company’s manager or recruiter to ensure fast and informed decision-making.

Evaluation principles and process

The objective is to assess profiles under pressure in order to reveal their true potential. The day is structured around 5 key assessment situations:

  • Validation and in-depth review of professional experience
  • Motivation for the sales profession and for your company
  • Ability to adapt in stressful situations
  • Analytical and synthesis skills
  • Conducting a sales interview in real-life conditions

Deliverable

At the end of the day, a detailed evaluation report is provided for each participant, assessing the profile based on 20 success criteria covering both sales skills and soft skills.

The Management Evaluation Day (MED) and its variant, the Sales Management Evaluation Day (SMED), are assessment days designed to provide an in-depth evaluation of managerial competencies. This process allows the assessment of up to 10 managers or candidates for leadership positions (sales or non-sales) based on all key skills and behaviors required for the role.

The evaluation is conducted by a senior consultant duo — an operational management expert from TMC Afrique and an HR consultant from ReKrute.com — with the employer present to enable immediate and informed decision-making.

Evaluation process and content

The day is structured to assess profiles under pressure, using a multi-dimensional approach that combines a psychometric assessment with practical simulations.

“Manager Profile” assessment test

At the start of the session, each participant completes a test providing objective insights into managerial abilities and preferred management style.

Practical simulations

The day is organized around three main workshops:

Presentation and creativity workshop
This workshop evaluates professional background, motivation, responsiveness, and communication coherence, focusing on synthesis skills, creativity, and oral expression.

Sales simulation (SMED only)
Participants conduct a full sales interview to assess their ability to:

  • Present objectives
  • Identify and reframe client needs
  • Build arguments and handle objections
  • Close and persuade

Managerial simulation
Through a case study, this workshop assesses core managerial skills:

  • Analytical and synthesis abilities
  • Decision-making
  • Organizational skills
  • Team leadership and coordination

Cross-functional skills assessed
